After taking a nice break from blogging and shopkeeping, I come back to find that my online store, ddrnow.shopify.com, has had a whopping 3 unique visitors! Some interesting info courtesy of Google Analytics:
- The visitors came from the US, Egypt, and Hungary. This is kind of bad news because I don't plan on shipping internationally, but somewhat impressive nonetheless.
- Of the three, only one stayed for more than 0 seconds. Obviously because the site is not written up yet. Still, that one visitor stayed and actually browsed products for more than a minute.
- All three came through Google with keywords for those exact products. This means I should definitely include long product descriptions and specific product names. It also means Shopify really is doing a good job with SEO and metatags built into the site.
So now I will be scrambling to get the site online and am very excited about what's to come...
